AdvancingWVU Crowdfunding Process, User Guidelines, and Application

Thank you for your interest in AdvancingWVU. Please follow the process outlined below to launch a campaign on the AdvancingWVU web site.

AdvancingWVU Campaign Process
  1. Review the USER GUIDELINES to help determine if your project is appropriate for an AdvancingWVU campaign. If you need further information in helping to determine whether your project is appropriate, please e-mail us at advancingwvu@wvuf.org.
  2. Review the AdvancingWVU TRAINING GUIDE to learn more about how to create your project team, plan your campaign, and execute your plan.
  3. Complete and submit the AdvancingWVU APPLICATION.
  4. Once your application has been approved, watch the AdvancingWVU training webinar. This will be sent to you by an Annual Giving staff member. This webinar will teach you how to conduct you campaign by walking you through the AdvancingWVU site, identifying prospective donors, and promoting your campaign via e-mail and social media.
  5. Annual Giving team member builds your crowdfunding page. In this stage please be prepared to answer any additional questions that the Annual Giving team member may have.
  6. Launch your AdvancingWVU crowdfunding campaign.
